1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how QuinielaManĂ­a collects, uses, stores, protects and shares information when you use our mobile app, website, API, related services and associated features.

QuinielaManĂ­a is a social sports prediction platform for private or public leagues, rankings, scoring rules and participation tools around sports tournaments.

QuinielaManĂ­a is not a sportsbook, does not process real-money bets and currently does not manage payments, monetary prizes or withdrawals inside the platform.

2. Service operator

QuinielaManĂ­a is the trade name of the digital app and service operated by Adrian Garcia as the responsible developer.

The main reference jurisdiction for this service is Venezuela, without prejudice to the fact that some technology providers may process information in other countries according to their own policies and terms.

3. Minimum age

QuinielaManĂ­a is intended for users over 18 years old. By creating an account or using the service, you state that you are at least 18 years old or the applicable legal minimum age in your jurisdiction if higher.

If we detect that an account belongs to a minor, we may restrict, suspend or delete it.

4. Information we collect

We collect information needed to create accounts, provide access, operate leagues, record predictions, calculate points, show rankings, provide support and maintain service security.

  • Account data: email address, display name, password protected through security mechanisms, account creation date, role and email verification status.
  • Profile data: country, country code, phone number, profile image or avatar and notification preferences, if you choose to configure them.
  • Functional data: active tournament, leagues created or joined, join requests, league codes, predictions, associated results, points earned, rankings, scoring rules and tournament-related activity.
  • Communication data: support requests, bug reports, privacy inquiries and messages sent to our contact emails.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser, technical identifiers, access logs, errors, performance events and data needed for security and diagnostics.
  • Social authentication data: if you use Google or Facebook sign-in, we may receive identifiers, email address, name and basic data authorized by the provider.

5. Information we currently do not collect

  • We do not collect precise GPS location.
  • We do not access your device contacts.
  • We do not access your photos, camera or files except when you choose to upload a profile image or use a feature that requires that permission.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not currently process payments, bets or monetary prizes inside the platform.

6. How we use information

  • Create, verify and manage user accounts.
  • Allow sign-in, sign-out, password recovery and email verification.
  • Allow users to create leagues, join leagues, manage members and handle requests.
  • Record predictions, calculate points and show rankings.
  • Show tournaments, matches, tournament summaries, rules and scoring criteria.
  • Send transactional emails, such as email verification or password recovery.
  • Send notifications related to account activity, leagues, matches, results, points or general announcements.
  • Respond to support, privacy or account deletion requests.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, technical errors or misuse of the service.
  • Analyze stability, performance, errors and general platform usage to improve the experience.
  • Display ads or measure campaigns if this feature is enabled in a current or future version of the app.

7. Emails, notifications and communications

We may send transactional emails needed for account operation, such as email verification, password recovery or important security notices.

We may also send in-app notifications or push notifications related to leagues, requests, matches about to close, results, points, rankings or general announcements, according to your preferences and feature availability.

You can adjust notification preferences from your profile when the option is available. Some messages strictly required for security or service operation may still be sent.

8. Third-party services

To operate QuinielaManĂ­a, we use technology providers that may process data on our behalf. These providers should only use the information as needed to provide their services.

  • Vercel: hosting, deployment and operation of the web and related services.
  • Neon/PostgreSQL: database storage and management.
  • Resend: sending transactional emails, such as email verification and password recovery.
  • Google Play and Apple App Store: distribution, review and operation of the mobile app.
  • Google and Facebook/Meta: social authentication, if you choose to use those sign-in methods.
  • Analytics tools: usage, event, performance measurement and product improvement, when enabled.
  • Crash reporting tools: diagnosis of errors, crashes and app stability, when enabled.
  • Push notification services: sending notifications to the device, when enabled.
  • Advertising services: serving or measuring ads, when enabled.

9. Advertising, analytics and measurement

QuinielaManĂ­a may use analytics, measurement, crash reporting, notification and advertising tools to understand product usage, improve stability, diagnose errors and, when applicable, show ads.

If personalized advertising, advanced ad measurement or equivalent technologies are enabled in a current or future version, the relevant App Store, Google Play and policy disclosures should be updated when applicable.

10. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following cases:

  • With technical providers needed to operate the platform.
  • When necessary to comply with legal obligations, valid authority requests or applicable procedures.
  • To protect rights, security and integrity of the service, users or third parties.
  • With your consent or when you choose to use features that involve sharing information, such as rankings, leagues or display name.

11. Information visible to other users

When participating in leagues or rankings, some data may be visible to other users, such as your display name, position, points, league participation, predictions revealed after matches close and other information related to the competitive experience.

We do not recommend using sensitive information as your display name, profile photo or public data inside the platform.

12. Data retention

We keep information while your account is active or while it is needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations or protect the integrity of leagues, rankings and tournaments.

Some technical data, backups or logs may be kept for a limited period even after a deletion request when needed for security, auditing, abuse prevention or legal compliance.

13. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect information, including access controls, secure connections, environment separation, secure credential storage and development best practices.

No system is 100% secure. We also recommend using strong passwords, not sharing credentials and keeping your device updated.

14. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by writing from the email registered in your account to support@quinielamania.com or privacy@quinielamania.com.

To protect your account, we may request additional information to confirm your identity before processing deletion.

Once the request is verified, we will process deletion or anonymization of applicable information. Some data may be retained for a limited period if needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, technical records or integrity of historical results.

15. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, update or deletion of your personal data. You may also ask about how your data is used or withdraw certain consents when applicable.

16. International transfers

By using global technology providers, your information may be processed or stored outside Venezuela. By using QuinielaManĂ­a, you understand that these providers may operate infrastructure in different countries, subject to their own policies and protection measures.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app, providers, applicable laws or data processing practices.

When changes are relevant, we may communicate them inside the app, by email or through a visible update on this page.
